Parental / Guardian Consent (Minors)

1. Who Must Complete This

Athletes under 18 years of age require consent from a parent or legal guardian before participating in WDHC, including online submissions.

2. Guardian Acknowledgments

By providing consent, the guardian confirms:

1. They are the parent or legal guardian of the minor athlete
2. They understand the inherent risks described in the Participation Waiver
3. They agree to the Participation Waiver and Media Release on behalf of the minor
4. They consent to collection of the minor's name, age category, city/country, performance data, and video proof URL per the Privacy Policy; public display of a Watch link on the leaderboard is optional
5. The minor will use safe equipment and appropriate supervision for home submissions

3. COPPA (Under 13)

WDHC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Accounts for athletes under 13 require guardian verification.

4. Required Information

• Minor full legal name and date of birth
• Guardian full name, relationship, email, and phone
• Guardian signature and date

5. State Law Notice

Enforceability of parental waivers varies by state. Parental consent requirements vary by state; guardians should review local rules for minor athletes.
