These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you (“you”) and World Dead Hang Championship (“we,” “us” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the https://www.worlddeadhangchampionship.com website (the “Site”). You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.
You acknowledge that participating in physical activities such as a dead hang involves inherent risks of physical injury. By submitting your attempt, you voluntarily assume all risks and release World Dead Hang Championship from any and all liability for any injury that may be sustained by you.
The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws.
By submitting content, you represent that: you are at least 18 years of age; all information you submit is truthful and accurate; and your video submission is an unedited, continuous recording that complies with the official WDHC Rulebook.
WDHC accepts a timing tolerance of ±3 seconds between submitted time and verified video time. Discrepancies within this window will be corrected to the verified time without notification. Discrepancies exceeding 3 seconds will result in the verified time being recorded with athlete notification.
By submitting your Contribution (video, performance data, etc.), you retain ownership but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to:
If you request the deletion of your account, this license remains in effect for any content already published or used.
Any athlete found to have submitted falsified times, edited video, or otherwise misrepresented their attempt will be permanently banned from WDHC competition and all records removed. WDHC reserves the right to remove any submission at its sole discretion.
Athletes may dispute a decision by submitting the dispute in writing to our official email within 7 days. We will review and provide a final written response within 14 days.
If a verified record is removed due to a violation, the next eligible and verified performance in that category will be recognized as the new official record. This change will be announced publicly.
You may not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
The Site is provided on an as-is basis. Your use of the Site is at your sole risk.
