Standard Submission

Required for all entries
This is the baseline for all entries on the leaderboard. Your video must be unedited and meet all the core requirements of the official rulebook.

  • Uninterrupted, continuous video from start to finish.
  • A clear view of a timer must be present throughout the entire hang.
  • Full body must be in the frame at the start and end of the hang.
  • No gloves, straps, hooks, or grip aids of any kind are permitted. Regular and liquid chalk are allowed.

Verified Submission

For athletes seeking the highest level of validation, the Verified Submission tier provides a path to earn the badge on the leaderboard. All Standard rules apply, plus the following must be demonstrated in a single unedited video:

  • Bar Measurement: Provide a close-up of the bar with a tape measure showing 1.25" (32mm) diameter, or state bar brand and model in submission notes for independent verification.
  • Bar Surface Check: Before the hang, provide a clear close-up of the entire bar surface confirming it is free of tape, grooves, or residue.
  • Grip View: Brief close-up of hand position on bar before the hang begins, showing double overhand grip with no prohibited aids.
  • Chalk Application: Show on-camera application of chalk before the attempt. No reapplication once the hang begins.

Submissions are reviewed within 24-48 hours. You'll receive a confirmation email with your grip age analysis.
