Mission
WDHC exists to build a sanctioned global sport around dead hang grip endurance: fair rules, verified results, accessible entry, and community rhythm through monthly challenges and gym partnerships. Grip Age™ turns raw hang time into a shareable training benchmark that rewards consistency across age, sex, and body type.
What We Operate Today

- Published rulebook, integrity policy, and legal hub for athletes
- Athlete Portal with Grip Age trends, history, and share cards
- Partner gym program with local leaderboards and sanctioned event kits
- Monthly challenges with digital champion recognition
Why a Nonprofit Arm (Future)
As WDHC grows, a separate 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(7) evaluation may make sense to:
- Fund youth and community grip-endurance programs at partner gyms
- Support adaptive-athlete participation and scholarship entry fees
- Publish open research on grip endurance norms (Grip Age registry)
- Accept tax-deductible donations for event safety, medals, and venue grants
Any nonprofit formation would be distinct from commercial LLC operations (merchandise, licensing, Pro championships). WDHC will not solicit tax-deductible donations until a qualified entity is formed and publicly announced.
Phased Governance
Phase 1 - Digital sport (now)
LLC operates submissions, verification, leaderboard, and legal policies. Commissioner-led review. Monthly challenge rhythm.
Phase 2 - Community nodes (2026 to 2027)
Partner gyms run WDHC nights; local challenge standings via gym filters; ambassador athletes; insurance and venue agreements before live finals.
Phase 3 - Championships & institution (2027+)
Regional qualifiers, annual finals, Pro division prizes. Evaluate nonprofit foundation for grants, youth programs, and research. Advisory board with climbing, medical, and event-safety voices.
Transparency Commitments
- Rule changes logged publicly in the rulebook with effective dates
- Leaderboard integrity disputes handled under the Competition Integrity Policy
- Medical disclaimer and event safety standards published before any sanctioned live final
- Trademark and Grip Age™ licensing terms documented before third-party commercial use
